BODYMIND AT EASE, STREAMS OF CREATIVITY AND MAKING PIECES

In this lab I will share how my Shiatsu experiences influence my work as a dance maker and vice versa. Get ready for a journey into instant composition, enriched with elements from the world

of Shiatsu. By instant composition I mean a method of creating movement, choreography, sound, words and text through intuition, action and listening. In these three sessions we will focus on

making dances and pieces. Every class will be divided into two distinct parts. First is the the yin part, where we immerse ourselves in techniques which support us in moving with ease. Second is

the yang part, in which we move outwards and apply these movements in an artistic and compositional context by creating short pieces.

The first part will include techniques that harmonize our body, mind, and spirit, supporting our creative flow. Key elements will be grounding, verticality, touch, awareness, listening and

participation. While some aspects of bodywork will be incorporated, it is important to note that this lab is NOT a therapeutic setting. The focus will be clearly on MAKING DANCE and

MAKING PIECES — spontaneously, improvised and composed in real-time. In the second part we will witness how each of these compositions is a dynamic situation in which we participate as

individuals and as a group. 2025 - Let`s join and spread aliveness and humanness.
