Die sechs Performer:innen erschaffen eine lebendige, sich ständig wandelnde Architektur, die Geschichten, Poesie, Atmosphären und Emotionen beherbergt. Raum und Zeit bilden das Fundament für immer neue, dynamische Strukturen, die unmittelbar zum Publikum sprechen und zugleich durchlässig für persönliche Assoziationen bleiben.

Über das Ootherside Collective

Seit 2018 bringt das Ootherside Collective Künstler:innen aus verschiedenen Ländern und Disziplinen in jährlichen Residenzen zusammen. Im Zentrum steht die Entwicklung einer gemeinsamen Praxis der Echtzeit-Komposition. Die langfristige Zusammenarbeit sowie die unterschiedlichen kulturellen und künstlerischen Hintergründe der Beteiligten prägen die geteilte performative Sprache und bilden die Grundlage für eigenständige Werke wie Dreams and Stones.

Jede Aufführung ist einzigartig. Gleichzeitig entwickelt jedes Stück über Proben, Residenzen und Aufführungen hinweg eine eigene performative Identität – einen spezifischen Charakter und eine innere Logik. Form und Dramaturgie entstehen nicht aus festgelegten Abläufen, sondern im Zusammenspiel von individueller Kreativität, situativer Aufmerksamkeit und kollektiver Verantwortung. Mehr: ootherside.com

The six performers create a living, constantly changing architecture that hosts stories, poetry, atmospheres, and emotions. Space and time form the foundation for ever-changing dynamic structures that speak directly to the audience while remaining open to personal associations.

About ootherside collective

Since 2018, Ootherside Collective has brought together artists from different countries and disciplines in annual residencies. At the heart of its work is the development of a shared practice of real-time composition. The collective's long-term collaboration, together with the diverse cultural and artistic backgrounds of its members, shapes a shared performative language and forms the foundation for original works such as Dreams and Stones.

Each performance is unique. At the same time, every work develops its own performative identity – a distinct character and an inner logic – through rehearsals, residencies and performances. Form and dramaturgy do not emerge from predetermined structures, but through the interplay of individual creativity, situational awareness and collective responsibility.
